Geography

At Seal Primary Academy, we aim to encourage our children to develop a deeper knowledge and understanding of the world and their place within it. We seek to inspire in them a curiosity and fascination about the world and its people which will remain with them for the rest of their lives. 

The study of Geography encourages the use of investigative and organisational skills, inspires exploration and curiosity and promotes questioning, critical thinking and decision-making, all of which are skills that are transferable across the curriculum and will remain useful throughout their lives. 

Moreover, we hope to instil in our children a sense of respect and responsibility for the local area and community as well as the wider world, helping them to become true global citizens.
